Chapel Lane Site
It is a legal requirement for children to attend school; parents must bring their children to school by 9 am. Children are praised for punctuality. Please do not leave your child unattended on school premises. Children may enter their classroom from 8:50 am to enable the school day to start promptly at 9 am. The classroom doors will be locked at 9 am. Children who arrive after 9am will enter school through the main entrance and must be signed in by their parents – the late book will be inspected by the school’s Educational Social Worker (ESW). You will be contacted by the ESW if your child is habitually late. On wet mornings, children should come straight into school from 8.45 am onwards unless they attend breakfast club.
Lloyds Lane Site
It is a legal requirement for children to attend school; parents must bring their children to school by 8:55 am. Children are praised for punctuality. Children may enter their classroom from 8:45 am to enable the school day to start promptly at 8:55, children who arrive after this time must be signed in either by their parents or older children must sign themselves in. The late book will be inspected by the school’s Educational Social Worker (ESW). You will be contacted by the ESW if your child is habitually late. Children who do not attend the breakfast club should not arrive in school before 8:45 am.
HOME TIME - Chapel Lane
At home time, parents are asked to wait by the small gate until 3 o’clock and then to wait outside their child’s class until their child’s name is called by the teacher. Children are not allowed out of the classroom until parents or another responsible adult collects them. If you make other arrangements for your child, please inform their class teacher. HOME TIME - Lloyds Lane
At home time, children will be dismissed from the school at 3:15p.m. Year 3 parents may collect their child from the side entrance. Class teachers will walk their class to the pedestrian gate. If you are meeting your child from school please could you remain either by the Leisure Centre entrance or by the small pedestrian gate. Children on the Lloyd’s Lane Site may walk home by themselves.
