Physical Development

PE sessions are on a Tuesday afternoon, children will need a white t-shirt and black shorts. We will let you know when your child needs pumps.

Homework Information for Parents

In Year 1 we will send homework suggestions at the start of each term. Please help your child to complete the tasks and return homework books back every Monday so we can see their fantastic work.

Reading

Reading is a gift for life. Please encourage your children to develop a love of reading through sharing and talking about books, comics and magazines that interest them.  Books and reading records will be collected in every Wednesday and returned each Friday with a new book and the sounds we have been practising that week.

Snack

Our school is part of the Healthy Schools Initiative. Please support our school and ensure that your child has a healthy snack every day for morning break. Children are provided with a free carton of milk and have access to water throughout the school day.

End of day arrangements

Please inform your class teacher or Mrs Pearce (School Secretary) if you have made exceptional arrangements for the collection of your child at the end of the day.

We are looking forward to building positive relationships with yourself and your child so if you should have any questions please feel free to come and speak to us - Our door is always open.

Thank you for all your continued support

Mrs McCunnell and Mrs Rowlands.
